All new and current members are encouraged to attend our Registration and Open Day on Sunday 25th September commencing at 10.00am
After our AGM that was held last Sunday the 21st we decided that this day was the best thing for our Club going forward.
Many positions were left Vacant.
Many of these positions are around Nippers and coordinating those days.
Many of us will be there to share our knowledge and experience and encourage and mentor you to ensure Our Nippers and Club continues to function for many more years to come.
Many of us are at the stage of our life's we wish to travel and not be committed as much as we are, and this is where you can help.
We have set the following dates for Nipper Proficiencies:-
Pool swims 10.00am at Kempsey Pool
Sunday 9th Oct
Saturday 15th Oct
Then Sunday 16th Oct will be Ocean swim, time to be advised
Membership can still be paid online via your members portal, fees this year will pre populate
Juniors - $80
Patrolling and Award Members - $55
One change however is the payment system will not allow you to use ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS within family group.
Kids will need to be renewed/registered individually
On 25th, you will be able to buy swimmers and caps.
All Nippers this season will receive a new Pink Rashie, thanks to Newcastle Permanent Building Society, Arnway, Mid Coast Scaffolding, Round the Bend Plumbing, Hat Head Bowling & Rec Club and Smithtown Hotel.
We will also taking names and setting dates for Training New Bronze and SRC candidates.
Get your Goggle out and start swimming in Pool.
To be able to start your training, all must complete 200m Pool swim in 5 minutes with aim/preferred 400m in 9 minutes.
Susan Croad and Natalie Mealing attended the State SLS Conference at the Samford Plaza Sydney. Lots of great information and networking with like minded passionate people. A great and informative weekend.

The conditions were hot and the surf was a bit rough but they all gave it a red hot go and didn’t let it rattle them. Super brave!
Cape Hawke surf club put on a great event and a big thanks to all the officials that gave their time to make it happen.

Special mention to Noah on receiving a great comment from offical’s on how he conducted himself in his beach sprint. It’s always amazing to place but to conduct yourself and be recognised with great sportsmanship is pretty special.
Safe to say all the kids gave it their all and left everything they had on the beach
